Description
Derlot; working with Alexander Lotersztain Studio, delivered a custom joinery and furniture package for the Torres Strait Regional Authority that supported; and strengthened, existing office structures to create a series of interconnected spaces that cater to the organisation’s numerous administrative roles, and, is responsive to the changing, post-COVID workplace–A workplace which requires flexible, adaptive working arrangements.
In collaboration with the client and key stake holders, Derlot and AL studio has delivered a minimalist, future-proof work environment that is filled with natural light and utilises a neutral colour palate of warm, natural materials; layered throughout the office, to create an inviting and enjoyable work environment which is set to become the backdrop to a number of important cultural artworks that showcases the island’s history and cultural identity.
